OUR PHILOSOPHY

Solar power plants based on ecological and economic principles, e.g.: All constructions, including necessary buildings, can be dismantled from steel constructions without concrete. After the solar power plants have been in operation, the open spaces will be recultivated and returned to their original state.

The demand for electrical energy has quadrupled in the last 30 years. At the moment the rising trend has decreased somewhat, but will increase disproportionately after the Pandemic crisis.

A European 4-person household consumes between 2600-5000 kWh today, it will double in the next few years due to electromobility and climate change (air conditioning of buildings). In addition, huge amounts of electrical energy are required to develop one of the most important energy sources of the future, the production of blue hydrogen (from water and not from methane gas) in the electrolysis process. This requires additional renewable energy capacities.

A main topic is DSM (Demand Side Management), i.e. the Provision of renewable energy on demand! Solar energy is not available around the clock and not in the same amount in every season.

Here lies the answer. In short storage with batteries or long-term storage. By storing solar energy with conversion into hydrogen or methane gas and conversion back into electrical energy.

Pumped storage plants are also possible in that water is pumped into higher-lying water reservoirs at peak production times and electricity is generated again via hydropower turbines if required.

The SEGE Solar Energy Group Europe focuses on the conservation of the necessary land areas as grassland in its open space solar power plants. Solar power plants require large open spaces. Mostly fallow areas with poor soil quality or lack of water are used for this, on which agricultural use is unprofitable.

The SEGE Solar Energy Group Europe developed the AAV system (Animal - Agri - Voltaic) use in cooperation with various specialist institutes. In a win-win solution, the many hectares of land - also under the photovoltaic panels, are used as grass and pasture land with traditional sheep and goat husbandry. For this purpose, a specially developed, very protein-rich shadow lawn mixture is used that is highly efficient for the animals as food serves milk production.

Under the protection of the solar areas, the green area can be used for grazing even in periods of frost. The irrigation is provided by the automatic water cleaning systems for the module surfaces.

The milk obtained is processed into low-lactose cheese specialties, which are marketed worldwide under the company's own label: KRONLAND.

The production of electricity from solar energy with an economical - ecological emission-free generation process is our job!
