INNOVATIVE SUSTAINABILITY

The SEGE project in Kosovo stands as a pioneering initiative in the Balkans, uniquely merging cutting-edge solar technology with traditional agricultural practices. This project is designed to maximize land use efficiency while maintaining ecological integrity. With the exception of the entrance area, all other sections of the project, including module partition areas and the spaces beneath the solar panels, will be maintained as green spaces.

To achieve this, we have selected specialized grass mixtures with a high protein content, tailored to support sustainable sheep grazing. The entire project site will be utilized for this purpose, transforming the land into a productive agricultural area. The sheep's milk will be used to produce premium cheese products, in collaboration with local producers in Kosovo. These dairy specialties are destined for export, specifically targeting the German-Austrian market through a strategic partnership with a major discount retailer.

Upon the completion of the solar system installation, the project will generate 22 long-term jobs, sustained throughout the operational life of the facility. It is important to note that the solar energy system operates with zero emissions, maintaining a neutral and stable impact on the climate.

The electricity generated by the SEGE power plant is planned for export through the KOSTT electricity network. However, we are open to discussions regarding exclusive sales within Kosovo, particularly in light of the country's obligation to achieve a renewable energy capacity of 400 MW by 2026, as mandated by European regulations.
